Job description
We are working with an Independent small animal veterinary practice in Sidmouth, on the Devon coastline who are currently recruiting for a Qualified RVN to join them permanently. The role is open to flexibility and can offer full or part time hours, with the practice being open from 8:30am until 6:30pm each day.
The practice operates over a main site and has also recently opened a fully serviced branch in the surrounding area.
Key Details:
Full time or Part time considered (willing to be flexible)
Hours Mon-Fri: Shifts between 8:30am until 6:30pm each day
Weekends: Saturday morning's to be worked on a shared rota
OOH: Quiet 1 in 4 on call rota with Vets taking phone calls. Bonuses paid for any call outs
Sole charge: None required
Branch Work: Some work will be required at local branch practice, to meet the needs of the business
About Them:
An independent first opinion small animal veterinary practice based on the Devon coast who operate over two fully equipped branch practices. They are a dynamic and growing practice who have superb equipment throughout, including digital x-ray, colour doppler ultrasound, digital tonometry, capnography and oxygen generators.
With the practice being fully independent they allow staff to have full autonomy on cases and are able to be flexible on working hours/rotas.
The Person:
You will be a Qualified Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a couple of years previous practice experience. Your passion will be clear to see and you will understand the importance of client care. It is important you are a team member, friendly and caring of others.
Package:
Salary: Full time up to 25,500 per annum (based on 40 hours per week)
28 days off per annum including bank holidays
Out of hours paid as extra
Company pension scheme
1000 annual CPD allowance (pro rota if part time)
RCVS, BVA & VDS fee paid
Uniform provided
Must haves:
RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be.
Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.
Have excellent verbal / written communication skills
