We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Torquay, Devon for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

This is a full or part time role with full time offering a 40 hour working week. There is a shared 1:8 Saturday morning rota and no ooh.

The role:

• Full or part time position. The full time role offers 40 hours per week. There is a shared 1:8 Saturday morning rota and no OOH.
• The role offers a variety of nursing duties including inpatient care, assisting the Vet in theatre, liaising with clients, nurse clinic and laboratory work. Nurses onsite carry out consultations and perform schedule 3 procedures.
• This role is ideal for a motivated and ambitious nurse who would like to make a difference and share and promote new ideas.
• They have a supportive team of 15 Nurse some of whom are certificate holders.
• The role offers the Nurse opportunities to develop their surgical and medical clinic duties.
• The RVN will be expected to be dedicated to providing a high standard of patient care and be able to work well as part of a team whilst establishing excellent working relationships with clients.
• The role offers flexible work patterns to suit around lifestyle, school runs and school holidays.

• 1^st Opinion practice with a team of 9 Vets, 15 Nurses and 3 SVNs.
• Four site practice with one Hospital offering referral services.
• They are fully equipped offering state of the art facilities and veterinary services including fan beam CT Scanner, ultrasound, endoscopy, separate dog and cat kennels, digital and dental x-ray and an in house laboratory.
• They provide a supportive working environment where everyone has a voice and are able to share their ideas.
• They offer a great work / life balance and provide support to one another as a team.
• The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

• They support all of the RVNs to pursue areas of special interest and some of the nurses have advanced qualifications.

• The practice are looking for a confident and enthusiastic nurse.
• The Nurse will have great communication skills and organisational skills and be able to work independently and also as part of a team.
• They will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily.

• Salary: Up to £30,000 pro rata per annum commensurate to experience
