Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join an independent small animal practice in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

This role is full time for 5 days per week, along with 1 in 3 Saturdays. Part time hours will also be considered. There will be no Sundays, OOH, on-call or bank holidays.

The practice will be fully equipped with all the latest toys and will offer a wide range of veterinary services. The practice is part of an established and growing independent group. It will offer a modern and spacious purpose-built environment. It will deliver a high standard of clinical care to all of its patient and also provides excellent customer service skills and education to all of their clients.

Key details:

  • Type: Small animal
  • Hours: Full time, 5 days per week
  • Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturdays
  • Sole charge: None
  • OOH: None
  • Consultations: 15 minutes

About the role

  • The practice believes in ensuring a good work-life balance, so the shifts are flexible on the rota and there are no on call or OOH work
  • The nurse must be enthusiastic and passionate about their work, have excellent communications skills and be able to work well as part of a close-knit team
  • The practice will accept applications from both experienced RVNS or an SVN in their final year of training

  • You will consistently deliver a high standard of clinical care
  • You will be caring, adaptable, hardworking and reliable
  • You will have excellent communication and customer interfacing skills
  • You will be driven and ambitious and looking to take your career to the next step and develop your clinical and skills

Package:

  • Salary: Up to £33,500 per annum, commensurate to experience
  • Holidays: Up to 6 weeks annual leave
