We are working with an independent veterinary practice on the outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk who are currently recruiting for a veterinary nurse to join them on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role and will involve working 5 days a week, with a mixture of 8:30am until 4:30pm and 10:30am until 7:00pm shifts.
The position also involves working 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota but no out of hours or evening work.
Type: Small Animal only
Hours Mon-Fri: Shifts either 8:30am until 4:30pm and 10:30am until 7:00pm
Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am until 12:00pm
OOH: 1 in 12 weekend inpatient check rota
Branch work: Very occasional shift required at local branch practice
Sole Charge: Not required, there will always be another nurse on site
Time off in lieu: Day off in week Provided when working in patients

Diagnostic and treatment facilities include a laboratory, dental facilities, X-Ray, ultrasound, ECG and operating theatre

Must be a qualified veterinary nurse who is registered with the RCVS

Salary 19,000-23,000 depending on experience
