Permanent Veterinary Nurse - North Walsham, Norfolk

We are working with an independent small animal practice in North Walsham, Norfolk who are currently recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

This role is full time with shifts between 8:30am and 7pm, along with 1 in 6 weekends and 1 in 6 weeknight shifts. The weekend rota will involve working Saturdays from 8:30am to 2pm and then on-call after.

This practice believe that all staff are equal and treat everybody the same so they kindly ask that nurses help out the reception team as and when needed.

Due to the experience in the team this role is open to all qualified veterinary nurses, with all experience levels.

Key details:

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full time, shifts between 8:30am and 7pm
• Weekends: 1 in 6 weekends, Saturdays from 8:30am to 2pm and then on-call
• OOH: 1 in 6 weekends, holiday cover for night nurses
• TOIL: Yes, for OOH weekend work
• Team: 4 vets, 8 nurses and support staff

About them:

An independent small animal practice in North Norfolk who are commutable from Norfolk. They see a variety of clients including cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, small mammals and more! The practice is well equipped with modern equipment and also boast having a CT scanner, laser therapy, physiotherapy, and a referral service.

The family run independent feel runs throughout the practice and they take a huge pride in the level of care they provide all clients with.

About you:

They are looking for a compassionate, hard working and reliable veterinary nurse whose passion for the industry is clear with everything they do. It is important that you are fully qualified and registered with the RCVS. Customer service skills are also of high importance, as they require all nurses to assist the reception team when required.

Package:

• Salary: £24,000 to £30,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 28 days annual leave

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
