Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Bromsgrove, Worcestershire

  • Are you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary nurse or soon to be?
  • Are you looking for a new full time role in Worcestershire?

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full time for 37.5 hours per week with shifts from 8am to 4pm or 11am to 7:30pm, along with weekends on a rota and 1 bank holiday per year. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

About the role:

  • The practice can offer flexible shift patterns in terms of the days worked in order to achieve a better work-life balance
  • The role will involve all aspects of general nursing and there is ongoing encouragement for Nurses specialise in a chosen area and they offer a generous CPD allowance to develop this
  • The role is based within one of their 4 branch sites in the area and they will be working alongside 3 Vets and 3 Nurses and 1 VCA each day
  • The role involves running a wide range of nursing clinics, lab duties, in patient care and theatre work

  • They have a large team of 12 vets across the sites

  • They are equipped with facilities including digital and dental x-ray, Ultrasound, in house laboratory and endoscopy
  • The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients using the latest technology
  • They provide a supportive environment which offers scope for the Nurse to develop an area of interest

About you:

  • The Nurse will have great communication skills, organisational skills and have an approachable manner
  • They will be confident, hard working and proactive
  • They will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily

Package

  • Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
  • Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave plus birthday off
