Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon - Manchester

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Manchester for a Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is part time for 20 to 30 hours per week over 3 or 4 days with shifts from 10am to 6:30pm, along with 1 in 4 Saturdays. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role

• The practice can offer a flexible rota with later start times.
• The role offers a varied caseload with a mixture of consultations, diagnostics, in-planning and surgeries.
• There will be no OOH work or on-call duties to ensure a good work-life balance.
• The role will involve some sole charge work so it is important that the Vet is confident in this area.

About you

• You will be comfortable with routine surgeries and consultations.
• You will have sole charge experience.
• Previous leadership and team management experience would be an advantage.
• You will have excellent communications skills and client facing skills.
• You will have a positive attitude and show empathy to both clients and team members.
• You will encourage ongoing development of the team.
• You will be a team player and be able to work in a collaborative manner.

• Salary: Up to £70,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
