We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Le Foulon, Guernsey for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide maternity leave cover for 6 to 12 months on a fixed term basis. This role is full time for 40.5 hours per week over 4.5 days with shifts from 8:30am to 6:30pm, along with 1 in 6 or 7 full weekends and 1 night per week. The on-call rota is 1 in 3 weekends on-call and 1 night per week on-call. There will be time off in lieu for any on-call weekends. Accommodation can be provided.

The role has the potential to become a permanent position. This role is full time for 5 days per week with shifts of 8 hours, along with 1 in 6 weekends with a day off in lieu. There will be 1 evening per week until 7pm where you will hold the phone and care for inpatients with support from nurses. There will be some sole charge on weekends and occasional evenings with 2 nurses to back up.
