We are recruiting on behalf of an independent practice in Grays, Essex who are looking for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 4 days per week, along with 1 in 4 Saturdays. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

This is an established independent small animal practice located close to the beach and local amenities. The practice is looking for an additional Vet to join their team. They have no set targets but offer the opportunity for a Vet to develop their clinical skills and knowledge. With only a 1:4 Saturday morning rota, no ooh, 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays by the coast this position offers a fantastic work life balance with progression opportunities.

The role will involve a mixture of consulting, case work ups and surgeries. Support is provided by the team, and it is important that the Vet is also a team player. The practice is fully equipped with various diagnostics including ultrasound and offer a wide range of modern veterinary services.

Key details:

  • Type: Small animal
  • Hours: Full time, 4 days per week
  • Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturdays
  • OOH: None
  • Team: 1 vet, 2 RVNs and 1 ACA
  • Consultations: 15 minutes
  • Computer system: Robovet

Facilities:

Package:

  • Salary: £35,000 to £65,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
