Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Gainsborough, Lincolnshire

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. This role is full time for 4 days per week from 8:30am to 6:30pm, along with 2 in 5 Saturdays until 1pm. There will be no OOH work.

This is an established small animal practice which has two branches. The role will involve working between both of these branches and there is an practice vehicle provided for travelling between branches and also for home visits.

Both branches offer a wide range of modern veterinary services and facilities with state-of-the-art equipment. There is a large veterinary team along with supporting staff.

About the role

The practice have a large team of highly experienced Veterinary Surgeon and are looking for an enthusiastic experience Vet to join them. Ideally the Surgeon will have a surgical bias. This would be an advantage,

Key details:

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full time, 4 days per week, 8:30am to 6pm
• Weekends: 2 in 5 Saturdays
• OOH: None
• Sole charge: Limited
• Other: One day off per week
• Team: Large multi vet, RVN team with SVNs and supporting staff
• Consultations: 15 minutes

• Provides state of the art equipment and facilities with expertise in internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, rehabilitation, surgery and more

• You will always deliver a high standard of clinical care
• you will be confident in routine surgeries and consultations
• You will be comfortable with sole charge
• You will have a surgical bias and aptitude
• You will be ambitious and looking to develop your clinical skill set and knowledge
• You will be happy to work across two branches
• You will have excellent customer facing skills
• You will work well within the team alongside other veterinary specialists and clinicians
• You will be a passionate and motivated veterinary surgeon with a genuine interest for animal welfare

Package:

• Salary: £35,000 to £55,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
