Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Diss, Norfolk

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon for a practice in Diss, Norfolk.
The position is full or part time, along with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. There will be no OOH work.
The practice is open 24 hours per day with a dedicated day and night team.They are a large 3-branch practice in Norfolk and are looking for a small animal surgeon to join their growing team of 7 vets and 11 RVNs. They see an interesting case load including exotics. It is a busy environment, and they are equipped with great facilities including a separate feline, canine and exotic hospital, 2 theatres, dental room, digital x-rays. endoscopy, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory.
Located in a beautiful countryside setting, close to the sea and the main roads accessing London. It comprises of a close-knit team who often get together to socialise usually at the pub!
They are looking for a vet with good experience, great routine surgical and medical skills and previous emergency work experience.

About you:
- You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
- Previous emergency work experience is advantageous
- You will be happy with all routine surgeries and consultations and able to work up medical cases
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff
- You will be a strong team player
Facilities:
Its well-equipped practice includes modern state of the art equipment such as ultrasound, endoscopy, tonometer, x-ray, blood pressure machines, drip pumps and syringe drivers.
Package:
- Salary: £40,000 to £60,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
