We are recruiting on behalf of an incredible small animal practice in Chesterfield for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon. This role is full time for 4 or 5 days per week to suit you, along with Saturdays on a fair rota. The practice are willing to be more flexible to suit you so part time hours can be considered. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

• Passionate about development and training of staff, multiple new grad success stories at other practices and opportunity for this vet to take on a new grad if desired

About you:

• They are looking for a confident vet with strong experience looking for an opportunity to have influence over a new practice
• You will have a passion for the industry and creating a postive and compassionate space for owners and their pets
• You will have the desire and capability to lead a team in future and make clinical decisions
• You will have excellent communications skills and client facing skills
• You will have a positive attitude and show empathy to both clients and team members
• You will encourage ongoing development of the team
• You must be confident to work as a sole charge vet initially
• You will be a team player and be able to work in a collaborative manner

Package

• Salary: £40,000 to £70,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 25 days holidays plus birthday off
• CPD: Generous allowance
• Memberships: RCVS and VDS fees paid

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
