We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Witham, Essex for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team in a clinical nurse capacity, working across three branches. This role is part time for 30 hours per week over 3 or 4 days with shifts between 7:30am and 7:30pm, along with 1 in 7 Saturday mornings. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role:

  • The Clinic Nurse role will involve working between two branch sites delivering nurse clinics for 4 hour sessions across 3 days per branch
  • The remainder of the role will be based within their main hospital and will also involve delivering nurse clinics and also assisting in theatre, x-ray and wards.
  • The RVN will be expected to be dedicated to providing a high standard of patient care and be able to work well as part of a team whilst establishing excellent working relationships with clients.
  • The role offers flexible work patterns to suit around lifestyle.

  • Established Small Animal Practice - first opinion with RCVS accredited Hospital and 5 branches. They are also a nurse training practice.
  • Two branches are consulting only and three are fully equipped do deal with both consulting, imaging and surgeries.
  • They are fully equipped offering state of the art facilities and veterinary services including laparoscopic, digital x-ray, surgical facilities, Ultrasound, dental x-ray, in house lab and more.

  • The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

About you:

  • The Nurse will enjoy and have a special interest in Nursing clinics and enjoy the interaction that this brings with both the pet and the client.
  • The Nurse will have great communication skills, organisational skills and have an approachable manner and be able to establish client relationships easily.
  • They will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily.

Package

  • Salary: Up to £30,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
