Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Watford, Hertfordshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Watford for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full time for 38 hours per week over 4 days with shifts between 8am and 8pm, along with 1 in 4 weekends and 1 in 12 Saturday mornings. Part time hours can be considered. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

• Your duties will involve inpatient care, assisting the vets in surgeries and nurse clinics
• You will play a vital role in promoting preventative health care and educating clients in this area
• There will be no OOH work as the practice understands the importance of a good work-life balance

• The practice is home to 7 vets, 13 nurses and a supportive non-clinical team
• They offer a wide range of modern veterinary services and diagnostics, including x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, ECG and in-house laboratory

Package

• Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
