We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal hospital in Norwich, Norfolk for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

This is a full time role offering 38.5 hours per week over a 4 day period. There are no OOH.

The role:

• Full time position offering a 38.5 hour working week over a 4 day period. There are no OOH
• The role will be based within a 1^st opinion small animal Hospital with one day per week working in their branch practice. This enables the RVN to utilise their skills across the Hospital departments whilst also experiencing branch work and building client relationships.
• The role will involve a variety of duties including nurse consultations, laboratory work, admissions and discharges, diagnostics, assisting the Vet in theatre, and inpatient care.
• This role is ideal for a motivated and ambitious nurse who would like to make a difference and share and promote new ideas.
• The RVN will be expected to be dedicated to providing a high standard of patient care and be able to work well as part of a team whilst establishing excellent working relationships with clients.
• The role offers flexible work patterns to suit around lifestyle, school runs and school holidays.

• 1^st Opinion Hospital.
• They are fully equipped offering state of the art facilities and veterinary services including CT scanner, dental suit, ultrasound, isolation facilities, four theatres, separate dog and cat kennels, digital and dental x-ray and an in house laboratory. They are able to provide ultrasonography, cardiology and orthopaedic surgeries.
• They provide a supportive working environment where everyone has a voice and are able to share their ideas.
• They have a large team of 34 Vets, 41 Nurses and 5 SVNs along with a large support team. They have certificate holding Vets and Nurses and these are encouraged and supported.
• They offer a great work / life balance and provide support to one another as a team.
• The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

• The practice are looking for a confident and enthusiastic nurse.
• The Nurse will have great communication skills and organisational skills and be able to work independently and also as part of a team.

• Salary: Up to £30,000 pro rata per annum commensurate to experience
