Professional veterinary recruitment

We are working with an independent veterinary practice on the outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk who are currently recruiting for a veterinary nurse to join them on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role and will involve working 5 days a week, with a mixture of 8:30am until 4:30pm and 10:30am until 7:00pm shifts.

The position also involves working 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota but no out of hours or evening work.

Key Details:

• Type: Small Animal only
• Hours Mon-Fri: Shifts either 8:30am until 4:30pm and 10:30am until 7:00pm
• Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am until 12:00pm
• OOH: 1 in 12 weekend inpatient check rota
• Branch work: Very occasional shift required at local branch practice
• Sole Charge: Not required, there will always be another nurse on site
• Time off in lieu: Day off in week Provided when working in patients

About You:

• A passionate veterinary nurse with a love for the industry and providing great care
• Must be a qualified veterinary nurse who is registered with the RCVS
• Motivated, passionate, and hard working
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Package:
• Salary 19,000-23,000 depending on experience
• 20 days annual leave per annum
• Company pension scheme
• CPD Allowance
• Membership fees paid

Must haves:

RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be.

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Have excellent verbal / written communication skills
