Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Grantham, Lincolnshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a first opinion practice in Grantham, Lincolnshire for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse. This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 5 days with shifts of 8 hours between 8:30am and 7pm, along with 1 in 8 Saturdays with a half day off in lieu. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

About the role:

• The role involves all aspects of general nursing including nurse clinics, prescriptions, assisting with reception duties where required, administrations and discharges, stock control, diagnostics, preventative healthcare education to clients, inpatient care, and assisting the vets in surgery and consultations
• The nurse will work closely with the fellow nursing team to ensure all aspects of nursing requirements are met
• The role offers a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who is looking to develop and progress with their Veterinary Nursing

• The practice is looking for an RVN who is a team player
• The would like someone who will embrace all aspects of the role
• You will have excellent communication and client facing skills
• You will enjoy client interaction and providing advice and education regarding their pets health
• You will have high clinical standards and always look at ways to continue to improve services
• You will be passionate, motivated and have the drive to continue to develop their clinical skills and knowledge
• You will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily

Package

• Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
