We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Glenrothes, Fife for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

This role is full time for 37.5 hours per week over 5 days with shifts between 8:30am and 6:30pm, along with 1 in 4 weekends on-call. During this rota, you will be in practice on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. There will be 3 shifts from 8:30am to 5pm, 1 shift from 8:30am to 1pm and 1 shift from 8:30am to 6:30pm. There is also an OOH rota of 1 night duty per week. Overtime rates are paid for any call outs. Part time applications can be considered.

  • Independent first opinion 100% small animal practice with 2 branches
  • The practice is fully equipped with facilities including a soft tissue and orthopaedic theatre along with a radiograph suit, dental table, 3 consultation rooms and a separate dog and cat kennel
  • The have a team of 7 Vets, team of RVNs and supportive non-clinical team
  • They have a loyal client base with a varied caseload of medical and surgical cases
  • The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

About you:

  • They are looking for a confident and outgoing person to join them
  • Ideally you will have upwards of 1 year as a qualified RVN
  • The Nurse will have great communication skills, organisational skills and have an approachable manner
  • The Nurse will be comfortable with nurse consultations
  • They will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily

Package

  • Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
