Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Ealing, Greater London

  • Are you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary nurse or soon to be?
  • Are you looking for a new opportunity in London?

We are recruiting on behalf of a first opinion small animal practice in Ealing for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, along with Saturdays on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

About the role

  • The role offers full time hours over 4 or 5 days per week.
  • The nurse will work alongside two Vets, two Nurses and a Clinical Director.
  • The duties can be catered to areas of special interest. The role can offer Nurse clinics, consulting, in patient care, and surgeries and the nurse will have the opportunity to focus on a particular area shoud they wish.
  • You will play a vital role in promoting preventative health care and educating our clients in this area

About them

  • This is a busy first opinion practice close to an underground station
  • They are a nurse training practice.
  • The practice is home to 4 vets, 5 nurses and a supportive non-clinical team
  • Their facilities include 2 consulting rooms, a nurse room, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, multiparameter, suction, electrocautery, in-house laboratory and microscopy
  • They promote a supportive and inclusive culture, and it can be felt within their working environment
  • They work closely with local animal charities, including Cats Protection
  • They have visiting specialists for orthopaedics and laparoscopy

Package

  • Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
  • Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
  • CPD: Generous allowance of £550 with 3 days to attend

Must haves:
