Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Boston, Lincolnshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Boston, Lincolnshire for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full time for 42 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, along with 1 in 5 Saturdays or Sundays. There will be 1 in 15 weekend nights. There will be no on-call duties.

The role:

• The role will involve all aspects of nursing duties including assisting in theatre, nursing in-patients and referral patients, emergency wok , laboratory work, nurse consulting, radiography and schedule three procedures.
• The role also involves the mentoring and teaching of SVNs.
• The practice encourage and support development of special interests.
• The role offers flexible work patterns to suit around lifestyle.

• Large Veterinary team across all sites with certificate holding surgeons in orthopaedics, soft tissue, ECC and medicinr
• They are fully equipped offering state of the art facilities and veterinary services including on site CT, ECG, Endoscopy, ultrasound, digital x-ray and Dental X-ray and more.

About you

• They are looking for an enthusiastic nurse who will embrace all aspects of the role.
• The Nurse will have great communication skills, organisational skills and have an approachable manner.
• They will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily.

Package

• Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays and birthday off
