Opportunity available for an experienced RVN to join a lovely independent practice near Ashford, Kent.

The practice provides first opinion services primarily to small animals, with a small amount of mixed work and the occasional large cat! The practice is situated in a converted building, fully equipped with the latest diagnostic and monitoring technology, in-house laboratory, and dispensary.

Clinical coach qualification desirable but not essential, however a desire to undertake training is necessary.

First interviews will be via zoom, and a virtual practice tour can be provided.

Key Details:

• Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse
• Type: Small Animal
• Hours: Full-time 40 hour week
• Weekdays: Shifts - 8am to 4:30pm; 9am to 5:30pm; 10am to 6:30pm;
• Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8:30am to 12:30pm (Friday afternoon off in lieu)
• OOHs: None required
• Team: 2 Vets, 3 RVNs plus support staff
• Other: Emergencies covered by an external provider

Person:

The practice has a close-knit team and so is looking for a friendly and approachable RVN who will engage and support the existing staff members.

Experience of running nurse clinics would be advantageous, as well as being competent in all areas of first opinion veterinary nursing.

Clinical coach qualification desirable but not essential, however a desire to undertake training is necessary.

Package:

• Salary of 22,500 to 24,500 DOE
• CPD allowance
• RCVS fees covered
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Further study supported and encouraged

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified
• 2 years' post qualification experience
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Clinical Coach qualification desirable but not essential
