Professional veterinary recruitment

We are working with a well renowned practice located in York, North Yorkshire who are recruiting for a full or part time Permanent Twilight RVN to help continue the rapid growth of the practice. You will be supported by an excellent team of RVNs, experienced Vets, Trainee Nurses and dedicated reception staff.

The candidate can choose between full time and part time work. The full time schedule will be:

• 4 weekday shifts for 2 weeks
• This is followed by 2 weekday shifts and 2 weekend shifts for 1 week

The part time schedule will be:

• Two weekday shifts for 2 weeks
• This is followed by two weekend shifts for 1 week

Both the full time and part time hours will be 1:30pm to 12am.

Key Details:

• Hours: Full time Monday to Friday 1:30pm to 12am
• Weekends: 1:3 full weekends 1:30pm to 12am
• OOH: Yes
• Computer System: Bespoke
• Team: 18 Vets, 13 RVNs, 2 SVNs

• They are a 24 hour first opinion small animal hospital in picturesque York with a happy, hardworking team and loyal clients
• They provide emergency and critical care for patients from all practices all over York
• They offer a wide range of features, such as emergency care, consultations, nursing clinics, surgery, laparoscopic surgery, vaccinations, prescriptions, pet health plan, CT scans and acupuncture

The Person:

• You will need to be confident in your own abilities and have excellent clinical and customer service skills to succeed in this
• Teamwork, patient care, high standards and relationships building with clients are at the forefront of what they do
• They are looking for an enthusiastic, goal oriented and self-motivated veterinary nurse to continue the rapid growth of the practice.
• You will need to be comfortable liaising with other veterinary team members, specialists and service providers

Package:

• Salary: 26,000 to 30,000 pro rata
