Permanent Veterinary Surgeons (VETSEEK-4350)

Sidmouth, Devon

Permanent

Veterinary Surgeon

£35,000 - £55,000 commensurate to experience

Full time / Permanent

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of an independent practice in Sidmouth Devon for two Permanent Veterinary Surgeons to join their team.

The practice is expanding and now opening a brand-new site in the summer in addition to the two fully equipped sites that they currently have. They require two new Vets to come and join their current team of 4 Vets, 3 RVNS, SVNs, ANAs and the RVN practice manager. One of the Vets is currently working towards a Certificate in Internal Medicine and the practice offer plenty of support to all Vets and Nurses should they wish to pursue further education.

They have a large client base and very much have the family feel environment within the team. They ensure they allow clinical freedom to all the Vets to work up their own cases and provide 20-minute consultation times. Support is available from more experienced Vets should this be required. They encouraged CPD and offer a generous allowance and travel and accommodation allowance to attend.

The practice is owned by the Head Vet and are proud to be fully independent with no sales targets and restrictions. Both current sites are fully equipped with capnography, digital X-Ray, colour doppler Ultrasound, ECG, in house lab and digital tonometry and more.

Located on the beautiful Jurassic Heritage cost and on the outskirts of Exeter and Exmouth's water sports hub along with Dartmoor National Park there is plenty to enjoy in the area.

Who are they looking for

The practice is looking for Veterinary Surgeons who are competent in routine surgeries and consultations and can cope with common emergencies. They will have a minimum of 1 years' experience. They will enjoy working within a general practice and all aspects of the role. They will be motivated and ambitious to always provide an excellent service to both patients and clients and will have excellent communication skills. They will have a friendly and empathetic attitude with a good sense of humour.
