We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Woodbridge, Suffolk for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1 in 5 Saturdays. There is time off in lieu on the following Friday after working a weekend. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role

• The position is ideal for a Vet who has an interest in medical cases and someone who is looking to progress in their career.
• The role whilst based across two sites, will only involve working on one site each day and the rota is planned months in advance
• They can offer a wide variety of case load along with case continuity
• They can offer a mixture of both consultations and surgeries and will support areas of special interests
• The offer 15 minute consultations
• Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance. EG Rota to work around the school run / holidays
• The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
• The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

• First opinion Veterinary Practice - 2 Sites
• They have facilities including separate cat and dog wards, digital x-ray, in house laboratory, ultrasound and dental x-ray suits
• The have a team of 5 Vets, 5 Nurses, 2 SVNs and a large support team
• They have Vet who holds a certificate in Ophthalmology and others with various special interests
• They can offer a varied and challenging case load
• The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.
• They are located in the beautiful countryside in Suffolk in close drive to London

• They are looking for a confident Vet who is capable of some sole charge
• The Vet will have ambition and motivation to develop their own clinical skills and knowledge

• The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills
• The Vet will always maintain a high standard of clinical care and always willing to go that extra mile for patients

Package

• Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
