Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Selby, North Yorkshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Selby, North Yorkshire for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 4 days per week, along with Saturdays on a rota. Part time hours can be considered. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role

• Clinical duties will be tailored to support professional interests
• The vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service
• The vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients

• Located in semi-rural location in North Yorkshire within easy access of the beautiful city of York
• Close to train service to York and Leeds

• They are equipped with facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, k-laser and doppler
• They offer separate wards

• They will be able to practice good medicine
• Support will be provided and areas of special interest will be supported
• The Vet will be a team player, with good interpersonal skills and be able to establish strong working relationships
• The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills
• The Vet will always maintain a high standard of clinical care

Package

• Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
• CPD: Generous allowance of £1,250 with 40 hours to attend
• Memberships: RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid
