We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Nottingham for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team. This role is full time for 40 hours per week, along with Saturdays on a rota from 9am to 2pm. Part time hours can be considered. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

  • Consultations: 15 minutes
  • Team: 2 vets and 6 nurses

The role

  • The practice are open to various levels of experience and either someone who has a surgical or medical bias.
  • The role offers the opportunity for ongoing career progression with areas of special interest supported up to certification level.
  • The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
  • The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

About you

  • The practice are open to various levels of experience.
  • They are able to support a Vet with either a medical or surgical bias.
  • They Vet will be a team player and be able to establish client and work relationships easily.
  • The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills. They will be able to build rapport and strong client relationships.

  • Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
