We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Norwich, Norfolk for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days with shifts between 8am and 6:30pm, along with 1 in 4 weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role

• The role offers a varied caseload with a mixture of consultations and surgeries
• There will be no OOH or on-call as the practice recognises the need for a good work-life balance
• Your duties will involve consultations and surgeries

• The practice is home to a strong team of 22 vets, 20 nurses and a supportive non-clinical team

• They understand the importance of the roles that RVNs play within the practice and actively encourage the development of skills and knowledge whereby the nurses offer nurse clinics where they can advise and educate clients and use their own initiative whilst assisting the vets

About you

• They are looking for a vet who has a good level of experience in medicine and surgery

• You will be a team player and be able to work in a collaborative manner

Package

• Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
