Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Manchester

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Manchester for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full or part time for up to 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, along with 1 in 4 Saturdays. The practice can be as flexible as needed with hours to support a healthy work-life balance and other commitments. There will be no OOH work or on call duties.

  • Computer system: EzyVet
  • Consultations: 15 minutes
  • Team: 3 vets, 2 RVNs, 4 SVNs, 3 VCAs, and 2 Receptionists

The role

  • They offer 15 minute consultations
  • Ideally looking for someone experienced but there is support in place for a new graduate
  • Very strong family-feel culture with an emphasis on work/life balance and CPD
  • The role will invovle a mixture of consultations and surgeries.
  • Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work-life balance
  • The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
  • The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

  • This role can be bespoken to the applicant so they would consider experienced Vets or perhaps someone who is returning to Veterinary work after a gap.
  • The Vet will be a team player, with good interpersonal skills and be able to establish strong working relationships.
  • The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills.
  • The Vet will always maintain a high standard of clinical care and always willing to go that extra mile for patients.
