Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Gerrards Cross, London

  • Are you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon or soon to be?
  • Are you looking to join a well-established, independently owned, small animal practice in London?

We have an opportunity for an Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in London. This role is full time, workig days and hours are flexible, along with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

This practice is a well-established, independently owned small animal practice.They have earned a solid reputation for delivering high-quality, personalized client care and treatment. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital radiography, quality ultrasound, anaesthetic and blood pressure monitoring, excellent surgical and consulting facilities, and full IDEXX laboratory capabilities. They have a dedicated team comprises experienced clinicians, skilled nurses, and support staff, with the added expertise of a certificate holder in small animal surgery.They are a progressive forward-thinking practice and their value all team members.

About the role

The roles will involve all aspects of Veterinary work on top of working closely both fellow team members and the clinical director.

Excellent communication skills are essential and ability to educate pet owners on their pet's welfare as well as providing excellent veterinary care is also essential.

There is a generous package which is commensurate with experience.

Key details:

  • Type: Small animal
  • Hours: Full time, 4 days per week. shifts from 8:30am to 7pm
  • Weekends: 1 in 2 Saturday mornings
  • OOH: None
  • Sole charge: Some
  • Branch work: None
  • Duties: conduct consultations, surgeries and diagnostic procedures

Package:

  • Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
  • Holidays: 7 weeks annual leave
