Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Dewsbury, West Yorkshire

  • Are you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon?
  • Are you looking for a role with future progression opportunities?

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Dewsbury for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join them. This is a full or part time role with no OOH and currently no weekend work. This is a great opportunity for a vet who is looking to progress into a more senior role in the future.

  • The role is available on a full or part time basis
  • The practice welcome vets with various areas of special interest
  • The role offers progression and development

  • The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service
  • The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients

About them:

  • Established 1st opinion small animal practice
  • They have a supportive team along with a Head Nurse and Clinical lead Nurse and the role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a practice that is building a team up from scratch.
  • They are fully equipped with all the toys and have recently invested new equipment. Facilities include an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, endoscope and ultrasound
  • The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

About you

  • The Vet will be a team player, with good interpersonal skills and be able to establish strong working relationships
  • The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills
  • The Vet will always maintain a high standard of clinical care

Package

  • Salary: Up to £65,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
  • Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays
  • CPD: Generous allowance of £1,500 with 5 days to attend
  • Memberships: RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid
