Job description

We are recruiting permanent Veterinary Surgeons to join a small animal practice in Chingford London.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week with a 1:3 weekend rota (Saturdays only). There is no ooh. There is some occasional sole charge responsibility.

This is a purpose-built practice with state-of-the-art facilities. It has recently been refurbished and offers free onsite parking along with it being close to all major transport links. It is an established practice with a large client base. One of the Vets has a special interest in orthopaedics so they offer these services in house. The team comprises od 2 Vets, 2 RVNS, 1 VCA and support team.

About the role

They are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon and someone who will work well within the existing team. They must be confident in the occasional sole charge work so previous experience in this area is required. Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience. The practice support areas of special interest so certificate are encouraged and supported.

About You:

  • You will have 2 years' experience as a minimum
  • You will be happy with some sole charge work
  • You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
  • You will have an approachable and caring attitude
  • You will be able to establish good working relationships with clients and be confident in all consultations
  • You will want to contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.
  • You will be a strong team player
