We are recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a practice in Redditch Worcestershire. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with a 1:3 weekend rota. The week after a weekend work the nurse will receive a long weekend off. There is no ooh.

The nurse will be joining a supportive team of 4 Vets, 6 RVNS, 1 SVN and a non-clinical team. The practice pride themselves on delivering a high standard of care to clients and patients and have a strong team focus believing in a good work / life balance. They are an accredited nurse training centre and actively encourage development of all staff members, so the role offers a great opportunity for a nurse to continue in their professional development.

They offer a wide range of veterinary services and are equipped with facilities including an in-house laboratory, 5 consulting rooms, two theatres, diagnostic suit with digital x-ray and ultrasound along with separate dog and cat wards.

The practice is looking for a Nurse who has recently qualified and who is looking for a tole where they can progress and develop their clinical skills and knowledge. It is important that they have great client care and communication skills and be able to work closely with others and provide support where required.

Duties and responsibilities include

Assisting Vets in Theatre

Administering Medications

Adhering to practice protocols

Preparing and recording of results

Managing bookings

Working closely the members of the team to ensure smooth running of the practice and to optimise the client experience

• Hours: Monday - Friday Full time

Package:

• Salary: 21,000 - 24,000 commensurate to experience
