We are recruiting a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join a brand new practice in Newbury, Berkshire.

This role is full time for 5 days per week, along with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings. Part time hours can be considered. There will be no OOH work, on-call duties or bank holidays.

The role will involve all general nursing duties and working alongside the lead vets in the ongoing running and growing of the practice.

The role offers an excellent opportunity for a nurse to join a growing independently owned family group of practice.

This is a brand-new clinic offering state of the art facilities. It is bright and spacious and offers a wide variety of veterinary services.

The practice understands the importance of a work life balance and the role comes with no on call and a flexible rota.

There is plenty of support available for career development and areas of special interest. The nurses must have excellent customer service and communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team.

Key details:

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full time, 5 days per week
• Weekends: 1 in 2 Saturday mornings
• Sole charge: None
• OOH: None
• Team: Large veterinary team across ten sites
• Consultations: 15 minutes

Facilities:

The practice offers a wide range of modern veterinary facilities and is fully equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, including:

• Digital X-ray
• Ultrasound
• CT scanner
• Dental suite
• In-house laboratory
• Separate cat and dog wards

Package:

• Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: Up to 6 weeks annual leave

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
