Job description

We are recruiting a permanent registered Veterinary Nurse to join a practice Folkstone Kent.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with a 1:4 weekend rota and time off in lieu once worked a weekend.

The Nurse will be joining a team of 2.5 Vets, 3 Nurses and supporting team. The team have a wide range of experience and a Vet has a certificate in feline medicine and another Vet is currently working towards their certificate in Surgery. Areas of special interest are encouraged, and these are supported by the whole team.

The practice is close to transport links direct to London as well as access to Dover and the channel tunnel.

The practice us purpose built and offers a wide variety if veterinary services and facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory.

The Nurse will have a good all round nursing experience and embrace all aspects of the role. They will have a supportive and friendly manner with a empathetic and caring attitude. It is important that they can work well as part of a team and support others where necessary and build solid client relationships.
