We are recruiting for a permanent Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice in Dalston.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with a 1:4 weekend rota. The HVN would be joining the 1.5 Vets who are clinical coaches along with 2 SVNs. The branch has a busy and varied case load and is fully equipped with modern facilities including an in-house laboratory. The practice is located close to local transport links.

The practices provide a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres. All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in their nearest state of the art Animal Hospital.

About the role

The role involves all aspects of general nursing looking after patients and clients and will also involve the development of the practice. They are looking for a confident RVN with strong leadership skills. It is important that the HVN has the drive and motivated to ensure the optimisation of the patient and client experience whilst continuing to drive the practice forward. The HVN will be responsible for the training and development of the nursing team and support the Veterinary Surgeons. The HVN will ensure that they maintain their own clinical skills and are always increasing their knowledge and skill set. They will have an empathetic and caring attitude with a friendly and approachable manner.

Package:

• Salary: 27,573 - 28,635 per annum
