We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic feline-only practice in Bermondsey, London for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse who has an interest in cats. This role is full time for 5 days per week with shifts of 8 or 9 hours, along with weekends on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

Your duties will involve inpatient care, nurse consultations, anaesthesia, assisting in surgery, ophthalmology, and surgical recoveries.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to work various different roles including nurse consultations, inpatient care and theatre work so my candidate is looking for an experienced individual who is confident to work in all these areas. It's a busy clinic, so the right candidate needs to be cat friendly, motivated, hardworking, good at lateral thinking, a team player and highly skilled. Additional nursing qualifications are preferred but not essential for application for the role.

• Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
