We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Aviemore, Inverness-shire for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

This is a full or part time role, with the full time hours offering 40 per week over 4 to 5 days. There is a 1:4 Saturday rota and no OOH.

The role:

• Full or part time position. The full time role offers 40 hours per week over a 4 or 5 day period. There is a shared Saturday rota and no OOH.
• The role offers a variety of nursing duties including inpatient care, assisting the Vet in theatre, liaising with clients, stock control and nurse consultations.
• This role is ideal for a motivated and ambitious nurse who would like to make a difference and share and promote new ideas.
• The RVN will be expected to be dedicated to providing a high standard of patient care and be able to work well as part of a team whilst establishing excellent working relationships with clients.
• The role offers flexible work patterns to suit around lifestyle, school runs and school holidays.

• 1^st Opinion practice with a team of 13 Vets, 5 Nurses and 2 SVNs.
• They have two sites.
• They are fully equipped offering state of the art facilities and veterinary services including ultrasound, separate dog and cat kennels, digital and dental x-ray and an in house laboratory.
• They provide a supportive working environment where everyone has a voice and are able to share their ideas.

• The practice are looking for a confident and enthusiastic nurse.
• The Nurse will have great communication skills and organisational skills and be able to work independently and also as part of a team.
• They will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily.

Package

• Salary: Up to £30,000 pro rata per annum commensurate to experience
