We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join an independent small animal practice in Abbey Wood, London. This position is full time for 40 hours per week, along with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. Part time hours can be considered. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

• Team: 4 vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN and a supportive non-clinical team

About them:

A well established independent 100% small animal practice with full surgical and medical facilities on site. They deal with all cases on site and have minor hospitalisation facilities, all out of hours are covered by a local provider. The practice work to high standards and have a RCVS accreditation, they take health and safety very seriously and often a modern approach to veterinary care.

About you:

They are recruiting for a qualified veterinary nurse to become an integral part of their veterinary team in providing excellent medical and surgical care of animals, as well as excellent client care. You must be enthusiastic and energetic with a caring attitude and the ability to communicate clearly with the team and clients. Flexibility and patience are also a key attribute this practice is looking for.

Package:

• Salary: £26,000 to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
• Holidays: 28 days annual annual leave, including bank holidays
• CPD: Generous allowance of £500
• Memberships: RCVS and VDS fees paid
• Company pension scheme
• Staff rewards scheme

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
