Permanent Veterinary Clinical Director - Winsford, Cheshire

  • Would you like to be a part of developing a new practice and put your own stamp on it?

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Winsford, Cheshire for a Permanent Veterinary Clinical Director. The vet will be running this standalone clinic sole charge therefore the hours can be negotiated for the right candidate. There will be no OOH work required.

The role

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a Vet who is looking to put their own stamp on a practice. They will have the opportunity to be involved from the start in designing the practice.
  • The Clinical Director will run the clinic on a standalone basis. This practice was previously a branch surgery and now they are looking at reopening and would like to discuss the running of the cliicsl with an experienced Surgeon who is looking to take the next step in their career.
  • The Vet will be responsible for carrying out consultations, diagnostics and surgeries and the Vet will be responsible for their own caseload.
  • Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work-life balance. EG Rota to work around the school run / holidays /lifestyle.
  • The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
  • The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

  • The practice is located in a lovely area of Cheshire surrounded by countryside and is ideal for someone looking for that countryside lifestyle. They are located close to major towns so can easuly access busier amenities.
  • They support personal development with a generous CPD allowance and encourage and support certificates and additional training.
  • The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

About you:

  • They are looking for an experienced Vet who is looking to take their next step and be responsbile for the running and develop of a new practice.
  • They will demonstrate leadership skills and the desire and passion to move the practice forward and grow the client base.
  • The Vet will be a team player, with good interpersonal skills and be able to establish strong working relationships.
  • The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills.

Package

  • Salary: Up to £75,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
  • Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
  • CPD: Generous allowance of £1,250 with 5 days to attend
  • Memberships: RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid
