Job description

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Chelmsford on a part time basis.

The role offers a 30-hour week over 3 days and a weekend rota of 1:3 Saturdays. This is an established practice in Chelmsford which is within easy access to London on the train. The Vet would be joining a team of the Branch Partner along with 2 RVNS and 2 SVNS. They offer state of the art facilities including Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, dental suite, and an in-house laboratory.

The practices provide a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres.

All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in the nearest state-of-the-art Animal Hospital which is only 30 minutes away.

Who are they looking for

The practice requires a Vet with a minimum of 2 years' experience and someone who is comfortable with routine surgeries and consultations. They must have excellent client facing and communication skills and work well as part of a team. the practice is well established and very much has that community feel so it is important that the Vet enjoys building good working relationships with the clients and becomes part of their community.

  • You will be comfortable in routine surgeries and consultations
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience

Package:

  • Salary: Up to 50,000 commensurate to experience
