Our independent client in Tooting South London are currently recruiting for a veterinary nurse to join them on a full time permanent basis. The hours are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4pm or 10am - 7.30pm. There is a 1:4 Saturday rota 8.30am - 1pm and no ooh.

The role involves all aspects of general nursing including theatre work, inpatient care, some reception duties and nurse clinics.

They are looking for a enthusiastic nurse who has a passion for animal welfare. They will have a friendly and approachable attitude along with excellent communication skills. They will enjoy building client relationships and working in a supportive practice environment.

Key Details:

• Hours Monday to Friday:8.30am - 4pm or 10am - 7.30pm
• Weekends: 1 Saturday a month
• OOH: None required
• Sole Charge: Occasional sole charge could be required
• Branch work: None involved, sole practice
• Team: 1 Vet & 3 Nurses

About them:

A small independent veterinary practice in South West London with excellent transport links into Central London and beyond. The practice pride themselves on professionalism, having an eye for detail and providing a high standard of service to all clients. They are a solely small animal practice and see a large number of feline, dogs and small mammals

Person:

They are looking for a qualified veterinary nurse or confident veterinary care assistant who is confident with all aspects of nursing, including care of in patients, consultations and anaesthesia monitoring. You must be professional in your work and have a good eye for details.

Package:

• Salary: 21,000 - 28,000 commensurate to experience

Must haves:

RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be.

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Have excellent verbal / written communication skills
