Permanent Farm Animal Veterinary Surgeon Frome, Somerset

A large animal practice located on the outskirts of Frome; Somerset are recruiting a permanent Farm Animal Vet to join them on a permanent full-time basis.

This role is predominantly dairy heavy with the workload also including beef, sheep, and small holders. There is a shared-on call rota between the team which is also generally quiet. There is TB testing work which is also shared out between the team however there are also ATTs on the team which helps to dilute the testing burden.

They are looking for an additional farm vet to join them and can provide support for new graduate vets. There is a structured new graduate programme in place.

About You:

• You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
• You will build client relationships easily
• Various levels of large animal experience considered

• Experience in TB Testing experience is advantageous
• You will be a forward-thinking vet, compassionate and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.

• Salary: 30,000 plus commensurate to experience
