Locum Veterinary Surgeon - Oldham, Greater Manchester

Our client in Oldham, Greater Manchester requires a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide cover on the below ad hoc dates from June 2024 to January 2025. This role is full time with shifts from 9am to 6pm. There will be no weekends or OOH work.

They are looking for a vet who is happy to do a mixture of consultations and surgeries.Our client is able to provide pet friendly accommodation in a beautiful village with fantastic local walks and pubs which is close to local bus route.You will be required to have a good level of experience and will be comfortable with sole charge. They are an independent practice and can happily hire any sole trader, self employed or umbrella locums.

Ad hoc dates:

• 6th to 14th June
• 19th to 30th August
• 14th to 18th October
• 23rd Dec to 7th January

Key details:

• Type: Small animal
• Start date: 6th June
• End date: 7th January
• Hours: Full time, shifts from 9am to 6pm

• Branch work: None
• Accommodation: Yes, 10 minute drive to practice or local bus route
• Daily rate: £450 to £600 per day, depending on experience and payment vehicle
• Payment options: Umbrella, bank contract, sole trader

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
