We are working with a specialist referral practice in Buckinghamshire who are currently recruiting for a Internal Medicine Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role would suit an experienced candidate with previous experience in looking after patients within a referral practice. They will provide support to the Internal Medicine Team.

Key Details:

Type: Internal Medicine Veterinary Nurse

Hours: FULL TIME - 40 hours per week

Main duties:

• Providing ongoing support to the Internal Medicine team
• The Nurse will be a point of contact for client within the Internal Medicine department
• The Nurse will be responsible for providing a high standard of clinical care
• The Nurse will maintain resources that are required by the internal medicine specialist.
• Maintain communication within the internal medicine department to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day case load
• Looking after inpatients and feeding back assessments of in-patient care to Internal Medicine specialists.
• Provide ongoing nursing care to internal medicine cases within the clinic
• Maintain and record accurate clinical notes and use the in-house system to record and write up treatment notes, pricing and discharge information and follow up appointments.

The practice is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and offer advanced treatment for orthopaedic, neurology, cardiology, and soft tissue cases. The onsite facilities include MRI and CT scanner suites, electro diagnostics, joint replacement systems and full radiography and arthroscopy equipment. They also have a dedicated physiotherapy and rehabilitation department, that includes aqua treadmills and much more.

The Person:

They are looking for a Nurse who works well within a large team and someone who is very much a team player. They will be looking for a position where they can work within a supportive and fun environment which offers training and development opportunities. They must be forward thinking and pro active with a friendly, empathetic attitude. They will be motivated and be able to work using their own initiative. Excellent customer service and communication skills are vital. They must embrace all aspects of the role, be able to multitask and prioritise and take a flexible approach the role. They must have soldi nursing experience.
