We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a independent family run practice in beautiful Cornwall.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with flexibility, can work 4 or 5 days and 1:4. OOH will be 1 a week which will be 1:4 and 1:4 weekends

About the role:

They are looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join the practice in delivering excellent veterinary care and customer service

The Vet must be enthusiastic, confident, and compassionate with a passion for their work. They must be confident in surgery and consultations

Key Details:

Type: Small Animal

Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

Weekends: 1:3 Saturdays

Sole Charge: Some

OOH: 1 on call a week with 1:4 on call weekends. Bonus paid for call outs

Branch work: : 3 branches, St Agnes/Perranporth/Truro

Computer System: Vet One

Consultations: 10 Minutes

Team: 4 vets currently, 7 RVNS, 4 SVNs, 3 Receptionists.

About You:

You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service

You will be confident in all areas of routine surgeries and medical cases

A medical bias would be advantageous

You will want to contribute to the practice enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.

You will be a strong team player

Package:

Salary: 37,000 - 60,000

Holiday allowance: 5.6 weeks

Must haves:

RCVS registered and qualified

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Excellent communication skills

1 year post grad
