We are recruiting for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Weston Super Mare Somerset. This is a full or part time role with a 1:3 weekend rota which is Saturdays only. There is no Sundays and no ooh thus offering an excellent work / life balance.

The Vet would be joining a supportive team of 3 Vets. 2 RVNS, 2 SVNs and non-clinical support team. The practice is bright, spacious and purpose built with equipment including digital c-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, and air conditioning. They practice is in Weston Super Mare and offers good transport links to Bristol.

The role offers an opportunity for clinical freedom and for a Vet to become pro active in further education and learning. Areas of special interest are supported and funded.

They are looking for a Vet who has solid medical and surgical skills and confident in sole charge work. the role is busy and varied and it is important that the Vet can work well under pressure and manage their own case load.

They will have excellent client facing skills, communication skills and be a team player.

• You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.

Package

• Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 commensurate to experience per annum
