Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Welwyn, Hertfordshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Welwyn for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1 in 5 Saturday mornings. You will have 1 in 6 Fridays off and the weekend rota is looking to change to 1 in 6 Saturday mornings in the future. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

Located in a pretty part of Hertfordshire, this established practice has a great local reputation and client base to run along with it. It is a modern forward-thinking practice which is fully equipped.

They boast a team of 5 Vets along with a supportive nursing team. They are growing and now looking for a 6th Vet to join them.

The role is a mixture of both consultations and surgeries all of which are 1st opinion. They ensure that there is time for admin and client calls, and they are committed to providing a high standard of Veterinary care.

Consults are 15 minutes however they do offer 30-minute appointments each day for emergencies and urgent cases.

They are looking for a Vet who is a team player and who is confident in routine consultations and surgeries. They will have excellent customer service and communications skills and be able to establish good working relationships with both clients and team members.

Package:

  • Salary: £38,000 to £60,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
