Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Tranent, East Lothian

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

This role is full time for 4 days per week, along with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The practice is part of 4 branches across the area all of which are well established, modern, and spacious offering a wide variety of veterinary services and facilities. They have a strong ethos of investing in people, their surgeries and ensure they have all the up-to-date equipment's and latest technology to continue to deliver a high-quality veterinary care service to both patients and clients.

Key details:

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full time, 4 days per week
• Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
• OOH: None
• Sole charge: None
• Team: 7 vets, 7 RVNs and a supportive non-clinical team
• Consultations: 15 minutes

About you:

• You will be a motivated veterinary surgeon always looking to develop your clinical skill set and knowledge further
• You will be an enthusiastic and passionate veterinary surgeon
• You will be able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with both clients and fellow members of the team
• You will be committed to delivering a high standard of clinical care

Facilities and services:

The practice offers modern veterinary services and facilities with state-of-the-art equipment, including:

• Ultrasound
• X-ray
• In-house laboratory

Package:

• Salary: £35,000 to £48,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays
• CPD: Generous allowance of £1,750

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
