We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join well-respected independent practice in Ruislip, London. This role is full or part time for up to 40 hours per week with shifts from 8:30am to 7pm, along with Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role will involve delivering excellent veterinary care and customer service to both patients and clients. This role would suit somebody early on in their veterinary career as they have support in place to develop skills.This role has exposure to more complex cases and working alongside a highly experienced and supportive team.

Key details:

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full or part time, up to 40 hours per week
• Weekends: On a rota
• Sole charge: On occasion
• Branch work: None
• OOH: None
• Consultations: 15 minutes or longer
• Team: 2 vets, 3 RVNs, and a supportive non-clinical team

About the role:

• They are seeking a veterinary surgeon for the delivery of an efficient, professional, and caring service to all the practice's clients and to provide a high standard of customer service and clinical care whilst also promoting pet wellbeing and delivering preventive services
• They have a supportive, friendly and welcoming team who have been with the practice for a long time, so this role would be ideal for a new graduate looking to start their career
• CPD is actively encouraged and tailored individually with regular reviews
• The caseload is very varied on a day-to-day basis
• They aim to promote a healthy life for all their pets by preventing, educating, and treating sick and injured animals with passion and compassion
• The practice has many modern services and facilities, including a full IDEXX laboratory facilities, ultrasound, anaesthetic and blood pressure monitoring equipment, and digital x-rays
