An opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic recently graduated Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent, RCVS accredited practice on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our client has a fantastic, close-knit team and offer what seems to be the current 'gold standard' for full time positions - 4 day sub-40hr week, fixed day off, 1 in 3 Sat AM with time off in lieu, no OOH, no Sundays, 15min appointment times, no consult block longer than 2 hours. It can get busy, but there is ringfenced time through the day for lunch, catch-up times, phone calls etc.

They have a great team of experienced vets and nurses, with a variety of interests looking to share their experience and support a newly graduated vet in their career development. New graduates will receive a dedicated VetGDP adviser, dedicated time assigned away from clinical work to spend with them and an intensive first-year CPD plan to maximise your potential.

Key Details:

• Role: Permanent Veterinary Surgeon
• Type: Small Animal
• Hours: Full-time, sub 40 hours a week Monday to Friday
• Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
• OOHs: None required
• Branch work: Occasional
• Team: 7 Vets and 9 RVNs plus support staff

Package:

• Salary commensurate with experience starting from 35,000
• RCVS/BVA/BSAVA/VDS + dedicated CPD plan.
• 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
• Further study supported and encouraged
  

Must haves:

RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be.

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Have excellent verbal / written communication skills
